To be or not to be? (again?) (ginaya ko lang iyong kay Shakespeare)

Wednesday, November 29th, 2006

To be or not to be; that is the question

To be a worldly man or a man of God

To live a sinful life or to pursue a holy one.

Now is the time

Now is the place

Now is the decision

Oh dear, I must decide

To be or not to be;

That is the question.

(note: I just imitated Shakespeare’s famous line. I say this so as not to plagiarize.)

Gusto ko ng putong puti - matamis, malambot

Gusto ko ng palabok - masarap, malinamnam

Ich hatte gerne appfelkuchen und mineralwasser! Bitte!

Wala lang. Ginugutom lang kita. Gesundheit!

Fall Into The Grace (read it all

Monday, November 27th, 2006

Could You be a teacher?
One that will be the cause to answer all my questions.
It seems that there is no period for these.
Why, oh why, oh why?

It seems that there’s no end for this
Question rises after question
A never-ending search for reason

I’m not sure
I’m not sure
I’m not sure

I want to know those things yet I must

Fall into the grace
(Why am I concluding this way again?)
Fall into the grace
Fall into the goodness
and faithfulness
and mercy
and love
of God, yes of God

Could You Be Messiah?

Monday, November 27th, 2006

could you be HEALER?
to a heart that’s been wounded
in a battle that’s never seen?
could you be TEACHER?
to a mind of confusion
tell me what does this for me?

are you DELIVERER?
of an imprissoned feeling in chains
can you set my spirit free?
And just one more question
allow me this question,
could you be MESIAH to me?
could you be MESIAH to me?

could you be FATHER?
to a soul that’s been abandoned
by a world too busy to hear?
could you be FRIEND?
to a helpless survivor?
can you take away my fears?

I heard them all sharing
this newfound conviction in them
Are you all they made you to be?
And just one more question
allow me this question
could you be MESSIAH,
please be MESSIAH to me..

Now I’ve been looking for
someone like you
and I’m so tired, I’m tired
I’ve read every book,
and I’ve sang every song
my mind may be right
but my heart feels so wrong
Tell me how much further
can my life go along
which way do the road leads
where do I belong?

Are you FORGIVER
of my most unknown secrets?
PROVIDER of all that I need?
can you be BROTHER?
the one who knows better
can you now stand in the lead?
When all this is over,
all the thunder and lightning
in the daylight just what will I see?
The answer to my question,
to all of my questions..
Could you be MESIAH to me?
Could you be MESIAH to me?
Could you be MESIAH,
please be MESIAH to me…

Hamlet!

Thursday, November 23rd, 2006

It’s wonderful! It’s wonderful! (remove the bold scenes)

"My words fly up, my thoughts remain below: Words without thoughts never to heaven go."
                                                                                                                 - From Hamlet (III, iii, 100-103).

This line by Shakespeare for the character of Hamlet implies this thing for me - repentance

I must repent with the thought of turning back from sin and walking toward God
- not just with mere, hollow words

Nothing to say

Thursday, November 23rd, 2006

I have nothing to say but this:
You will be my song
You will be my song
You will be my song
For all eternity

Fall in love with the Lord. Jn. 3:16

Here I am

Thursday, November 23rd, 2006

Here I am to worship/ Here I am to bow down/ Here I am to say that/ you’re my God/ You’re altogether lovely/ altogether worthy/ altogether wonderful to me/
I’ll never know/ how much it costs to see my sins/ upon that cross/
I’ll never know/ how much it costs to see my sins/ upon that cross/

Here I am/ Take me/ as an offering/ Here I am/ giving/ every heartbeat/ for your glory/
Take me

Lord, search me now.
May this song minister to those who need it.
